Therapist-in-Training

Jasmine Williams

I believe in fostering a supportive, safe space in therapy where clients can openly share, feel valued, and work toward meaningful progress by harnessing their strengths and building resilience.

Hey, I’m Jasmine.

Is your child struggling with focus or facing overwhelming feelings of worry or sadness? Are they dealing with challenges at school, in friendships, or at home that seem to impact their mood or confidence? Do you find that they’re grappling with the effects of trauma, navigating family transitions, or feeling the weight of expectations? Are you searching for ways to help your child feel more understood, resilient, and empowered?

Over 15 years experience in Child Welfare, Children’s Protective Services, Foster Care, and Juvenile Justice has provided me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges children, teens, and families face. I am passionate about supporting clients through issues related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, family relationships, the challenges of navigating the court system and self-esteem. My background equips me to connect with clients who feel unseen, especially those involved in the foster care or juvenile justice systems.

I strive to create a compassionate, safe space for individuals and families to heal and build resilience. My approach is rooted in person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral methods, designed to meet each client's unique needs and foster emotional well-being. If you or your family are ready to embark on a journey of connection, healing, and growth, let’s work together.

My background & approach

Currently pursuing my MSW at Spring Arbor University, I integrate my knowledge of the challenges facing children and families with a grounded, strengths-based approach. I have also obtained a Master of Business Administration from Cornerstone University and Bachelor of Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. I am known for my sense of humor, down-to-earth nature, and compassionate care, which I bring to every session. With experience in youth residential treatment facility settings, private foster care agencies, the Department of Health and Human Services and assisting children and families, together, we can create a plan that builds on your strengths and opens the door to positive change.
