  • Group Supervision Program Overview

Our group supervision approach helps clinicians gain a deep understanding of how their values, core beliefs, biases, frame of reference, and cultural identities influence the therapeutic process. We are committed to helping clinicians to provide high-quality, ethical, clinically appropriate, and culturally humble care. Additionally, we deeply value connection and learning from each other’s unique experiences and identities in a group setting.

    Our Group Supervision Program Offers:

Convenience and Accessibility: We understand the busy schedules of limited licensed practitioners. We offer multiple time slots, providing flexibility for you to join when it is most convenient for your schedule. Feel free to drop in for an hour each week or join for two hours every other week.

Multi-Disciplinary Learning Environment: Our group supervision sessions are co-led by our owners, ensuring a rich and multi-disciplinary learning space. This approach allows practitioners from different backgrounds and specialties to learn from one another.

Emphasis on Self-Awareness and Cultural Humility: Our program places a strong emphasis on deepening self-awareness and cultural humility. We believe that effective therapy requires practitioners to be in tune with their own values, beliefs, and biases to strengthen cultural humility, empathy, the therapeutic relationship, and treatment outcomes.

Clinical Competence and Skills: We are committed to equipping practitioners with strong clinical skills. We focus on fostering confidence, competence, and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse client needs.

Navigating Imposter Syndrome: We acknowledge the prevalence of imposter syndrome in the mental health field. Our group supervision helps practitioners navigate and overcome these feelings of inadequacy by fostering a supportive and growth-oriented atmosphere.

Addressing Burnout and Secondary Traumatic Stress: Practitioners are at high risk for burnout and secondary traumatic stress. We provide psychoeducation and strategies to effectively engage with this challenging aspect of our work and reduce the risk of these symptoms.

Reflective Supervision Practices: We encourage and guide practitioners to use reflective supervision practices. This approach offers insight into how they are influenced and impacted by their clients, ultimately enabling them to become more intuitive and responsive clinicians.

Psychological Safety: At the core of our model is the recognition that psychological safety is an absolute necessity for meaningful and productive self-reflective practices. We create an environment where humility and vulnerability are not only encouraged but celebrated.

Humor and Fun: We believe that humor and fun are essential elements for maintaining balance in the face of the challenges inherent in our work. They contribute to creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment where practitioners can openly share and learn from one another.

Group supervision cost: $50 an hour

Days/Times: Starting March 21, 2024! Every other Thursday, two-hour blocks, 5:30pm-7:30pm, connect with us for more information!
